Performance Food Group is seeking a dependable and well organized **Delivery Driver** for an immediate opening in Ottowa, IL. This position offers various schedules and excellent income for qualified drivers seeking to take their career to the next level!

A Performance Food Group **Delivery Driver** must be able to execute dispatched assignments, fulfill customer expectations and adhere to specific delivery procedures in accordance with our company policy. The driver will be responsible for delivering a variety of products to accounts within a designated area. Multiple stops are required throughout the route that requires frequent exits and entry to and from the truck cab to conduct manual unloading of products. In this position you will:

+ Execute basic and advanced driving methods in accordance in compliance of all DOT regulations.

+ Maintain safe and legal operation of a commercial motor vehicle.

+ Deliver and unload frozen, chilled and dry food products to customer locations within assigned route.

+ Place products on customers' shelves or another designed location when applicable.

+ Properly load and unload freight to assure safety and minimal risk of damage to cargo and danger to people.

+ Collect payments from customers and record transactions when applicable.

+ Resolve service complaints when able, issue credit memos for refused product, return product to warehouse and maintain effective communications with transportation supervisors, management and the sales department.

+ Organize end-of-day paperwork for office administration.

+ Perform Pre & Post trip inspections and maintain the proper temperature environment within delivery trailer.

+ Develop and maintain a professional and effective relationship between the company and the customer.

**Required Qualifications:**

o High School diploma or GED.

o Must have a valid Class A Commercial Drivers' License.

o Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

o Must meet the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation.

o Must be able to perform all delivery functions including:

o Lifting up to 90 pounds on occasion and 20 to 50 pounds frequently.

o Operating trailer lift gates and two-wheeled hand trucks.

o Balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, grasping, talking and hearing.

o Working inside and outside in a wide variety of temperature and environmental conditions.

o Performing basic math operations.
